‘I’m often asked if I have ever painted on rectangles and the answer is yes. Sure, this is how I started out in art school with teachers like Victor Candell and Leo Manso who taught at the Provincetown Workshop, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, as well as other locations in NYC. This was in the early 1970’s. I painted large abstract paintings for approximately 20 years before seriously developing the “Theory & Practice” of “The Modular Triangular System.” For those who a might be curious, here are some examples of my former rectangular work. In my abstracts, I often used Caribbean sand blended with my acrylics.’
